We’re Maya and Cinthya, partners in life and in food. Through Sabores Komali, our Mexican catering company, we celebrate our roots: nuestras raíces, nuestra gente, nuestra comida. Maya grew up in Acapulco, learning to cook by her mother’s side, and has spent over 25 years honing her craft, always cooking from the heart. Cinthya was raised in the Bay Area by Mexican immigrant parents, surrounded by a strong sense of family and cultural pride.

Sabores Komali is our way of sharing that spirit of comunidad and cultura. Named after el comal, the traditional griddle at the heart of many Mexican kitchens, our food is rooted in tradition and connection.
