SOME OF OLCC INITIATIVES & ACTIVITIES
- In 2020, as Covid impact hit, an OLCC outreach team contacted and assisted over 300 Oakland businesses offering technical assistance, loan and grant resources and legal consultation.
- Publishing a monthly newsletter packed with resources, events, job news and other information, distributed to over 1100 subscribers
- Compiling a dynamic list of over 100 Latino owned restaurants and cafes
- Organizing informative bi-lingual webinars

Proposals Due Monday March 25th | Full RFP available online The City of Oakland’s Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) is excited to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Administration and Implementation of the Facade & Tenant Improvement Program (FTIP). FTIP provides grants to small business owners and property owners to improve their commercial properties, enhancing and revitalizing the commercial corridors within our vibrant city.
