Why We’re Coming To You Directly
We know the road to recovery hasn’t been easy or linear. Shifting consumer behavior, evolving workplace patterns, and public safety concerns have created real headwinds for small businesses across our neighborhoods and commercial corridors. Many are still working to reclaim the ground lost during the pandemic, and the challenges aren’t uniform; your experience is your own.
We are reaching out again this year with a brief survey to ensure that the Chamber’s advocacy, programming, and investments continue to be shaped by the people who matter most: Oakland’s small business owners, the entrepreneurs and operators who define and lift up our commercial corridors and anchor our community’s cultural identity.
Your input will directly inform how we:
- Design and deploy training and technical assistance that meets you where you are
- Address the specific barriers standing between your business and sustained economic growth
- Create targeted opportunities, both business-to-business and consumer-facing, that drive real revenue for your business
