Join the Small Business Showcase, a Business Outreach Committee event connecting small and emerging businesses with public agencies, prime contractors, and industry partners, on September 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Caltrans District 4 in Oakland.

This free event provides an opportunity to showcase business capabilities, connect with agency and industry representatives, learn about upcoming contracting opportunities and available resources, and build relationships that can lead to future teaming, subcontracting, and contracting opportunities.

Businesses will have the opportunity to:

  • Showcase their firm and capabilities directly to public agencies and prime contractors.
  • Connect with agency and industry representatives.
  • Learn about upcoming projects, contracting opportunities, and available resources.
  • Build relationships for potential future partnerships and contracts.

The event is focused primarily on transportation and transit agencies, with Oakland-based DBEs and SBEs especially encouraged to participate. The event is also expected to feature opening remarks from the Mayor of Oakland.
