GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION:  The project, in general, consists of preparing and implementing water pollution control plan; job site management; designing, installing, maintaining and removing traffic control systems; providing trench and excavation 

protection; performing structure excavation and off hauling resulting materials; installing approximately 4,080 linear feet of reinforce concrete pipe; constructing associated reinforced concrete manhole structures; furnishing and installing controlled low strength 

material backfill; restoring roadway structural section, traffic stripping and pavement markings; reconstructing curb, gutter, and sidewalk; cleaning site and miscellaneous work; furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, workmanship, transportation 

and services and miscellaneous work necessary to be done in order to complete said project.

The contractor for this project must possess a Class A license at the time this contract is awarded and throughout the construction contract duration. 

Contractor must also be properly licensed at the time the bid is submitted, except as provided for in Section 7029.1 of the Business and Profession Code for joint ventures or by Section 20103.5 of the Public Contract Code for federally funded projects.

PRE-BID MEETING: A mandatory pre-bid will be held virtually for all prime contractors. Interested sub-contractors are invited and encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting. The virtual pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday July 28, 2026, at 11:00 am.

The project site will be opened to prospective bidders to examine on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Viewing of the project site is not mandatory; however prospective bidders are encouraged to attend to familiarize themselves with the existing site conditions.
